what to do when everything falls apart
one day you're in. the next you're out.
Content warning: suicidal ideation.
Why does it always seem like everything falls apart in a vacuum? I’ve been watching a lot of Project Runway for some reason recently, and I can’t get their tagline out of my head: “In fashion, one day you’re in, and the next you’re out.”
Well, how freaking true not only for fashion but seemingly so it goes in the seasons of life. How one minute all is well and stable. You know who you are, what you have, and what you want. Things are going to plan, and you’re reaping the rewards of your hard-earned efforts.
Then something in the atmosphere changes- a shift you can’t quite place- and it’s all just lying before you in a broken heap. And the only one you can find to blame is yourself.
