this poem is sooo beautiful, I love how it reminds us to think of the simple things in life. It also reminds me of the Mary Oliver quote: are you merely breathing a little, and calling it a life?
This piece speaks volumes in me. In a way, I can relate to it as lately, I have been in the state of survival and now after I resigned, I am trying to live a soft life but my mind is still adjusting being in the survival state for too long.
Recently I’ve been thinking a lot how animals live on instinct. They don’t have to think through it all because they feel through it all. We are animals too are we not?
And how much could our lives improve if we trust our instincts and feelings over thoughts that flit through our overdeveloped brains.
This is such a profound thought! It is incredibly easy to get trapped in the endless loop of analyzing every detail. Trusting our animal instincts and just letting ourselves feel our way forward is a practice I am actively trying to cultivate. I love this perspective so much, thank you for sharing it.
I relate deeply to this poem
I’ve been thinking about this too trying to write it out even
Stopping to observe the beauty of life is part of living too
This is a beautiful one

"Where infinite heat bows before the breeze and
everything in nature responds in kind."
