happy ten years !!!!!!!!!!! this was gorgeous, as always. i related so much to some parts, especially "This is my own cross to bear. I know it’s not my responsibility to make others see things as I do" -- this is something i used to struggle with massively. i used to think because i was so observant, and remembered everything so thoroughly, and felt so deeply, i thought he, too, should match that. but you articulated it perfectly. 'this is my own cross to bear'. as i moved into adulthood, i finally understood that people love in different ways, but that doesn't mean it's any lesser.
